Rights and Responsibilities of Domestic Workers in Dubai, UAE

The United Arab Emirates Domestic Labor Law organizes the guideline of informed consent, guaranteeing that laborers know about the terms of the contract, nature of work, the workplace, the payment and the time of daily and weekly rest set out by the official regulations and before they cross their national outskirts. The requirement of domestic helpers contracts

The requirement company must present a copy of the job offer to the worker preceding the laborer’s departure from his nation of origin. A standard agreement certified by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) will administer the terms and conditions of the work.

The employer or the domestic worker may end the agreement if the other party neglects to meet his commitments. The employer or domestic worker may terminate the agreement even if the other party has met his commitments. This is known as a ‘no-fault’ termination and it is subject to payment as defined in the Domestic Labor Law.
