Public Listed Company (PLC)
Business setup as a Public Listed Company (PLC) in Jebel Ali Free Zone can be done with two to 25 shareholders. These shareholders can be individuals (people), non-individuals (companies), and sometimes a combination of both. A PLC is essentially a Limited Liability Partnership within the Free Zone.
Single shareholder
A single shareholder can register a Free Zone Establishment (FZE) in Jebel Ali Free Zone whether an individual or a company to conduct business activities. An FZE is essentially a Limited Liability Company in the Free Zone. The liabilities of the company are limited to the paid-up capital.
Any existing established entity/ Branch
A branch is considered a legal entity of its parent company and is 100% owned by its parent company, it works under the same name and performs the same type of business.
